Canvas - LOVE IT

Guess what came in the mail today? No, not the Uggs I asked Santa for and no, not the white North Face jacket either. Remember last month I asked you to help me pick out a wedding photo to be put on a canvas?

Well, I ended up choosing picture number four, it HANDS DOWN got the most votes.
Don't remember? Here, let me refresh your memory.

So many of you liked this picture, I went ahead and ordered it that day, using the $50 off coupon code and now, a couple weeks later, it's finally arrived!

Kev already hung it on the wall and I'm too short to get a good picture straight on so here's the best I could do.

I ended  up going with one of the smaller sizes that Canvas People offer, an 11x14, only because I was afraid to spend too much with a company I've never used before. Now that I've gotten my canvas, I can say that I'm pretty pleased and it only cost me $27, including the shipping.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give them a 9. I took off one point because the edges that were stapled seem a bit sloppy, but other than that, it's perfect. The color is spot on and the green really pops. I'm so glad to finally have a wedding picture on the wall. A first of many I hope!

Seven months later and we still have zero pictures printed of our wedding besides this and the few 4x6's I have in my office. How lame is that? For the money we paid, I should have a damn alter at one of them.

Brides, how long did it take for you to finally get a picture on the wall?

It's so purdy! I love that shade of green, it sort of makes the whole picture seem ethereal. And don't beat yourself up for being slow to get prints-- you have the rest of your life (says the ultimate procrastinator)!

Soooo pretty :) I wish had ordered though this company... such a deal!

I have a picture that my BFF painted of K and I, and a "collage" frame with several wedding pictures hanging up. That's it though, and it's almost been 6 months!

I love it! It's beautiful. Don't feel bad about not having many wedding pics up. We only have one framed on the wall and it was because our photographer sent us one printed as a gift! But I agree for as much $$ as we spent they should be everywhere! LOL

Gorgeous! I love it! Aww, I can't wait to get some of our pictures printed and framed. I'm only 2 and 1/2 months in, but I still haven't gotten any printed. Or shown them to our families yet...oops.

OMG! I love that idea of a canvas print. I think everything always looks better on a canvas - it's so artsy. And your picture is gorgeous! Congrats to you guys. I'm sure you will get some more pictures up in no time!

I'm a new follower, I love your blog!! :)

Beautiful!! I also recently ordered a wrap around canvas (as a gift, not for me, boh) because of a discount from Groupon and it came out SO good. Glad you're happy with your beautiful picture!!

Gorgeous! And what a great price. Ummm, it took us like 3 years to get a photo on the wall. We moved around a lot when we were first married, so, I didn't want to take the time to print and frame them, knowing they'd come down in a few months. Also, I hated my wedding photos. Still do. So we only have a few in the house. Sads.

Oh that's a great choice and it looks beautiful!!! I just now finally got the CD of my photos on Tuesday... So here's hoping I get some photos on the walls soon! I have a lot of the frames we got out with the pics that came in them and people keep asking me "who are those people" and then they realize it's the photo that came with the frame :)

Wow, that came out great. We haven't printed out any of our pics at all yet. A friend of the family is a photog and gifted us 2 pics that she printed, matted & framed but we still haven't hung them. ;( I gotta get on that.

That's a great picture! Photos are meant to be seen! Although they mostly reside on my computer...

In my case, it's "How long did it take you to take the wedding pictures down after you split up?" and my answer would be that they're still there. *Hanging head in shame!* I'm WORKING on it, haha. The good thing is, our photographer wasn't that great, & didn't cost too much, so there wasn't much lost there!

I love your picture! :)
And with everything in the digital age era...I don't know if many people will get pictures of their wedding actually printed out!

we've been married 5 years and I have to date 1, that's right 1 wedding picture in my house. Sitting on my nightstand. I don't know why I never bothered with more. Although now pictures of my son cover all surfaces so that makes up for it.

JEALOUS - This is such a great contemporary looks vs the traditional matted frame. This looks gorgeous and like you said the color really pops. Not too much not too little, just right..We have only been married 37 days and we're thinking of this or metal prints!?!?!?

Loooove it!!! So so so pretty!!! We have zero pics printed, too. It's so sad. But my mom is getting us a really nice print for Christmas so I'm excited to finally hang that.

We just got ours in 11 x 14 from our photog, so I'm going to frame & get those up soon!
